Honestly, I blinked and March was gone. The pace of the year feels like it’s picked up, and with it comes that familiar shift in season and energy.
Here in Australia, the mornings are crisper, the sun is sitting a little lower, and the light feels softer. Autumn always sneaks in quietly but brings with it such a beautiful permission to slow down.
It’s the season of soft jumpers, hot teas, and grounding routines. A time to get back to what’s essential, and for me, that’s simplifying my skincare, protecting my skin barrier, and embracing the daily rituals that make me feel most like me.
Yes, that still includes SPF. Just because summer’s done doesn’t mean UV is. If anything, the cooler months are when people forget sunscreen, but the damage still happens.
Here’s everything I’ve been loving lately and what is getting me through this trans-seasonal time.

I listened to the audiobook here again, after trying to read the hardcover six years ago and utterly failing. I crushed this audiobook! It’s author read, goes by quickly, and feels like history meets an informative podcast meets a touch of New York society gossip.
