MONTHLY MANUAL | MAY

May really said: blink and you’ll miss it. Between our biggest sale yet (huge thanks if you grabbed something!), birthday celebrations, and a stacked calendar of events, the month flew by in a blur of good chaos.
Here’s what I’ve been into lately—products, rituals, little joys—everything helping me feel a bit more grounded in the middle of the mayhem.
Following:
The Middle aged goddess
I recently met Jane at the Kailo Summit, and her approach to aging gracefully is incredibly inspiring. I love following Jane, as she reminds me daily of how much of a gift it really is to be able to experience aging, and she is such a big breath of fresh air to see on social media.... where everyone else's face doesn't seem to move!
Watching:
Your friends & neighbors
Fun & Funny series. The former Don Draper (From Mad Men) plays another rich, secretive businessman — who, instead of endless hookups with strangers, gets off on stealing from his wealthy neighbors. If you liked White Lotus, you will like this.

Smarter: 10 lessons for a more productive and less-stressed life By Emily Austen
I loved this audiobook—it’s been incredibly helpful in building Mother SPF. Smarter is a powerful guide for anyone navigating the chaos and complexity of startup life. With its focus on mental clarity, structured thinking, and sustainable productivity, this audiobook is particularly valuable for founders who constantly juggle decisions, pressure, and rapid change.

Never Split The Difference by Chris Voss
After all the various issues I have had with my manufacturers and suppliers, I realised I needed to improve my negotiation skills and set better contractual terms from the very start. This book has been truly helpful in giving me the right tools to negotiate successfully.
If you want to learn all about the mistakes I have made, you can read about them in my Substack. Subscribe, no pledge and go to "Lessons Learned in Business." This one was a very vulnerable share, and if you are currently starting your own business, hopefully you can learn from my mistakes.
Loving
Dry Body Brushing
Dry body brushing energises your skin, supports detox, and creates a moment of calm—all of which add up to that healthy, invigorated feeling you get straight after it.
The lymphatic system is finally getting the attention it deserves in the wellness space —and I’ve noticed a real boost in energy since adding practices like dry brushing, saunas, and lymphatic massage into my weekly rituals.
We just filmed a video with our stockist, Forme by Sophie Dulac—watch it here to learn more about your lymphatic system and we also did an interview with her which has more tips on what you can do daily to support your lymphatic system.
