Jenna Nelkovski is the founder of Mumma Milla, the original leakproof nursing bralettes designed for every season of motherhood. Born from Jenna’s own breastfeeding journey with her two baby boys, Mumma Milla began with a simple wish: a nursing bra that was comfortable, supportive and smart enough to catch unexpected leaks. After three years of research and development that wish became a reality. And just like that, Mumma Milla was born.

What’s been the most rewarding aspect of building Mumma Milla? 

It's always pretty special when I receive a note or message that our bralettes or cami's have helped mothers with their breastfeeeding journey. I also love seeing mums in Mumma Milla, I don't think that feeling will ever change, and it gives me the drive to continue expanding the Mumma Milla collection! 

What have you learnt about running your own successful business, has anything surprised you or anything you wished you knew sooner? 

That sacrifices are abundant, and there are always new hurdles to face! I'd say all the challenges and hard work help to fine tune and better your business and practices, so it's all part of the journey which really is so much fun (most) of the time! 

Do you have any must have rituals to help set your day up for success? 

Movement. And removing myself from technology. A rule of mine is I don't check my phone or emails first thing in the morning. 

What wellness hack has made the biggest improvement to your life in the last 5 years? 

Eating wholefoods! Taking in healthy lunch and snacks to the office and warehouse is my simple time saving hack. 

If you could pass on some knowledge to your younger self, what would it be? 

Say no! Thanks to Emma Grede's mantra "If it's a maybe, it's a no" is something I tap into a lot these days. 

Lastly, your favourite item from Mumma Mila? 

The scallop leakproof collection. This nursing cami and bandeau was a very strong vision for me a few years ago. I wanted to create something completely unique to the market; a nursing cami that also looked nice, and 100% practical and functional for a breastfeeding mum. It was pretty special seeing Sienna Miller wear our bandeau bralette from this collection last year.
