Watching: MobLand
Being a fan of Pierce Brosnan since his James Bond days and Tom Hardy after Mad Max: Fury Road, I had to give MobLand a watch. Instead of a generic crime drama, "MobLand" offers a deeply layered and genuinely captivating exploration of loyalty, power, and survival within a brutal world. It reminds me of a “modern day” Peaky Blinders. So if you liked that, you will love this.
Listening: The ultimate human with Gary Brecka
Hosted by Gary Brecka, a leading human biologist, researcher, and longevity expert. Each episode offers clear, science-based insights and practical steps to help you understand your biology and make lasting improvements to your wellbeing. This podcast is for anyone looking to optimise their energy, longevity, and everyday performance. It’s not too “sciency” and I find the protocols really easy to implement into my life.
Reading: Bable
Bable, otherwise known as Baby Food Bible, is far more than a cookbook for babies. I don’t have a baby and I don’t even love cooking, yet somehow, I can’t get enough of this book.
Maybe that’s exactly why I love it. The recipes are simple, nourishing, and genuinely easy to make. Written by a nutritionist, it brings a thoughtful, balanced approach to food that makes healthy cooking feel effortless. I keep coming back to the chickpea cookies, banana bread, and roast chicken, they’ve become weekly staples in my kitchen.
Following: Natural Face Bible
The OG when it comes to face taping!
It’s something I love to do while I sleep as it helps slow the deepening of expression lines by preventing that repetitive folding of the skin. Think of it as a natural mini face lift sans the toxins or surgery. I always wake up with softer forehead lines and a more relaxed face.
It won’t stop collagen loss or sun damage, so take this as your friendly reminder to never skip your daily SPF!
